Glucose syrup (corn syrup) “Olympos” has been present on the Greek market for almost 50 years.
It is high quality syrup, of perfect purity and clarity, with the solid content min. 80% (Br) and no preservatives added.
It is a well-known and much valued ingredient in various confectionery recipes, particularly these of the traditional Greek sweets or homemade jams.
The “Olympos” glucose syrup can replace some of the sugar in the recipes, thus reducing overly sweet tastes or inhabiting unwanted crystallization.
When used in dough recipes it will give lighter and smoother texture to the finished product.
